Latest news

As part of the fundraising for 2007, over £5000 has been donated to a range of charities. This includes £1,500 for the Sheffield Leukaemia and Blood Disorders Appeal, £1,000 for Cancer Research U.K., £1,000 for the Brian Wyers Memorial Fund which is currently raising money for Trinity Palliative Care Services, £500 to the The Phoenix Association, £500 to St. Luke’s Church, Lodge Moor for local charitable work, £300 for the St. Vincent de Paul Society, £200 for the David Clover organisation as well as a number of smaller donations.

The programme for the Christmas Musical Cavalcade on Sunday 7th December is now taking shape. If you bought tickets from us for the last Christmas Concert, you should receive a priority booking letter in July, offering you the same seats before they become available for other customers.  If you have changed address, please let us know. Because the number of people on the priority booking system is becoming so large, the priority booking letters will be posted in two batches, about two weeks apart, so please don't be worried if you don't get your letter at the same time as other people; you can be confident that the tickets you bought from us last Christmas will be reserved for you until the end of the priority booking period.

Unfortunately, it has not been possible to organise a "Come Dancing, Sheffield" ballroom dancing event for the summer. The next dance should be in February, 2009.
